Stuttgart, November 7, 2022 – Interflex and its partner plano., a provider of workforce management solutions based in Ilmenau, Germany, have announced their intention to join together as one team with a common focus in Advanced Workforce Management in the future. This is the result of an acquisition agreement by Allegion, the parent company of Interflex. The planned acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
Interflex as a solution provider
For Interflex, the addition of plano. is an important step in the expansion of its product and solution portfolio: the Stuttgart-based specialist for modern access control, visitor management, time management and workforce management will thus further strengthen its position as a solution provider for the world of work. “The shortage of skilled workers requires new approaches to workforce planning, and workforce management is becoming increasingly relevant as a result,” says Bernhard Sommer, General Manager of Interflex. “That’s why we are taking advantage of the synergies created by this acquisition and expanding our competencies in this growth market together with Robert Schüler and his experienced team from plano.”
Focus on customers
plano. was founded in 2006 by Robert Schüler. The software manufacturer’s modular product range covers all important areas of digital workforce management such as capacity planning, time recording and time management, workforce scheduling as well as options for managing employee training and qualifications. More than one million users are on the plano. platform worldwide. It is planned that Robert Schüler, currently General Manager of plano., will be responsible for the workforce management activities for Interflex and plano. in total. There will also be a corresponding realignment in the sales organization.
Already today, many customers combine the solutions and products of plano. and Interflex – both in Germany and internationally. In the future, they will benefit from a joint solution offering. “Being part of Interflex will enable us to align our solutions even more closely with the market and the need of our customers,” emphasizes Robert Schüler. “We are focusing primarily on excellent customer care through our large specialist consulting team and customer support.
